VOC’s at HPOTS

At HPOTS we recognise that you may require your staff skills re-assessed to ensure they have maintained the current skills necessary to perform their duties. This is called a Verification of Competency.

A Verification of Competency (VOC) is an assessment of a person’s knowledge and skills. The process assists employers with meeting their Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S) obligations to deem staff competent to perform a task or operate plant and/or equipment.

VOC’s are undertaken on persons who already hold a current ticket, licence or unit of competency, to verify that they are still competent to that standard. Persons undertaking a VOC must provide evidence of their existing competency.

HPOTS conducts VOCs across all our suite of products and assesses to the nationally recognised Unit of Competency.

Assessments can take place on the job or at HPOTS Cessnock Training Campus.

All assessments include knowledge testing and demonstration of skills.
