Here at HPOTS the health and safety of our employees and students has always been our priority. In these uncertain times, our commitment to you hasn’t changed. We are taking every step to ensure our employees and students are safe.
This is a challenging time, but as a community, we can work together to get through it. HPOTS contribution as a leading training provider to the Mining, Resources and Infrastructure industries, also comes with a responsibility to play a positive part in response to any challenges.
Health and Safety
Every day we are following strict cleaning and hygiene procedures at our Cessnock Campus. We’ve increased the cleaning and sanitising of all contact surfaces including our classroom desks, communal lunch areas, staff and student kitchen facilities, bathrooms, furnishings, door handles and floors, training equipment including all controls, switches, levers, steering apparatus.
Our team are regularly washing their hands with anti-microbial hand wash and ensuring classrooms remain hygienically clean. The same hand wash is available for our students to use to wash their hands in all bathrooms.
We are continuing to work closely with all relevant authorities and are strictly following the guidance provided by the Australian Government Department of Health and NSW Department of Health.
HPOTS will continue to deliver all programs as per our training calendar which is available on our website www.hpots.com.au and has dedicated program dates to the end of December.
Our Booking forms highlight the need for all potential students to disclose any possible sickness prior to them arriving at HPOTS so alternatives arrangements for their training and development can occur where necessary.
COVID-19 Safety Plan

· Will monitor the Department of Health website: www.health.gov.au/health-topics/novel-coronavirus-2019-ncov for any updates to the guidelines for employers and continue to follow the latest advice.
