This package specifies the outcomes required to erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding at the basic and intermediate levels, consisting of scaffolding work connected with the operation or use of modular or pre-fabricated scaffolds, cantilevered materials hoists with a maximum working load of 500kg, ropes and gin wheels, safety nets and static lines, and bracket scaffolds (tank and formwork) for licensing purposes. This package also includes Working at Heights.

Program Outline

This package will provide the skills and knowledge required to work as a scaffolder at an intermediate level. As an Intermediate Scaffolder you will be able to carry out all tasks that a basic scaffolder does plus installation of cantilevered platforms, erecting mast climbers, and erection of tube and coupler scaffolds.

Learners can undertake this package within a 3 month period and get great skills needed by industry.

Prerequisite – There are no prerequisites for this program.

Learning Outcomes

On successful completion of this program, Participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge:

  • Plan Operations
  • Select and Inspect plant and equipment.
  • Erect scaffold and scaffolding equipment.
  • Dismantle scaffold and scaffolding equipment.
  • Working safely at Heights.

Participants will receive the nationally recognised Statements of Attainment CPCCLSF2001, CPCCLSF3001 and RIIWAH204E.

Undertaking the HRW Safework Assessment at the completion of your training.

Participants must now apply to undertake the HRW assessment via their Service NSW App. HPOTS will assist you with this on day 1 of your training.

**A Wallet Card including the Statement of Attainment and VOC (Verification of Competency) will be also issued to each participant at the completion of this program.

Fees and Charges

The program fee is $3,600 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.

The Safework NSW HRW Licence Application Fee of $90.00 is the responsibility of the student and this is payable at an approved Service NSW Centre either in person or on-line.
