Powerline Awareness
This program will provide the skills and knowledge required to work safely near energised electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker.
Program Outline
This program provides provides the learner with the skills and knowledge required to work safely (up to the defined safe approach distance SAD) near electrical apparatus, including electrical powerlines, for non-electrical workers. Also included is the preparation of risk assessment control measures that encompass a job safety assessment.
Prerequisites – There are no prerequisites for this program.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this program, participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge:
- Prepare to work safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
- Carry out work safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
- Complete work safely near live electrical apparatus as a non-electrical worker
Upon successful completion of the Training Program, Participants will receive the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in UETTDREL006

HPOTS Training Campus, Cessnock.
Fees and Charges
The program fee is $250 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.
