This unit describes a participant’s skills and knowledge required to operate a light vehicle in the Resources and Infrastructure Industries. This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles.
Prerequisites – There are no prerequisites for this program, however, participants need to hold a current Class C Drivers Licence.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this program, Participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge:
- Plan and prepare for light vehicle operations
- Select and load equipment and/or ancillary attachments
- Perform pre-departure checks
- Operate a light vehicle
- Perform maintenance and minor repairs on light vehicles
Note: Participants must supply their own 4wd vehicle upon successful completion of the Training Program, Participants will receive the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment RIIVEH201E.
Location
HPOTS Training Campus, Cessnock.
Note: This program is held on demand for groups of 4 – 6 participants.
Fees and Charges
The program fee is $300 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.
