This program has been developed to assist jobseekers to kick start their career in the construction industry. This program will :
- provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislation requirements. A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck high risk work licence.
- Provide the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights
- Provide the skills and knowledge required to gain personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others in a construction workplace.
Program Outline
This program has been developed to assist jobseekers to kick start their career in the construction industry. This program will :
- provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislation requirements. A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck high risk work licence.
- Provide the skills and knowledge required to work safely at heights
- Provide the skills and knowledge required to gain personal awareness and knowledge of health and safety legislative requirements to work safely and prevent injury or harm to self and others in a construction workplace.
Prerequisites – There are no prerequisites for this program. However, the forklift program requires a learner to be 18 years of age to gain their high-risk work licence.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this program, Participants will receive the nationally recognised Statements of Attainments in:
- TLILIC0003 and if successful in the HRW assessment, will be able to apply for a HRW Forklift Licence through Safework NSW
- CPCWHS1001 Work Safely in the construction industry ( White Card)
- RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights
Enrolment dates reflect Day 1 of the Forklift Program. White Card and Working at Heights dates can be discussed with Administration when expressions of interest are made.
Undertaking the HRW Safework Assessment at the completion of your training.
Participants must now apply to undertake the HRW assessment via their Service NSW App. HPOTS will assist you with this on day 1 of your training.
**A Wallet Card including the Statement of Attainment and VOC (Verification of Competency) will be also issued to each participant at the completion of this program.

HPOTS Training Campus, Cessnock.
Fees and Charges
The program fee is $650 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.
The Safework NSW HRW Licence Application Fee of $90.00 is the responsibility of the student and this is payable at an approved Service NSW Centre either in person or on-line.
