This program will provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements.
This program will provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a forklift truck safely in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Forklift truck means a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900mm or more above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian-operated truck or pallet truck.
A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck High Risk Work Licence.
Prerequisites – There are no prerequisites for this program.
On successful completion of this program, Participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge:
- Plan operations.
- Conduct routine checks.
- Traffic management plan implementation.
- Operate the Forklift Truck for 3 varied lifts.
- Shut down and secure the Forklift truck
Upon successful completion of the Training Program, Participants will receive the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment TLILIC0003 and if successful in the HRW assessment will be able to apply for an HRW Licence through Safework NSW.

Fees and Charges
The program fee is $460 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.
SafeWork NSW HRW Licence Application Fee: $75.00 payable at an approved Post Office.

Day 1 – Presentation, discussion and Forklift Operational Activities
Day 2 – Practical Training, theory review, and Unit of Competency Summative Assessment
Day 3 – HRW Licence Assessment conducted by a Safework NSW Accredited Assessor.
