This 2day interactive workshop is designed for people who already have a basic understanding of identifying risks and undertaking risk management processes in the workplace and need to have these skills formalised with nationally supported training.

The workshop allows for individuals to discuss workplace procedures whilst learning current legislative requirements for risk management in the mining and construction industry.

The G1 G8 G9 G2(formally known as S1 S2 S3 G2) competencies allow a person to have authority to supervise workers on a mining and construction site. This nationally recognised training requires learners to complete the following 4 units of competency to achieve a Mine Site Safety Supervisor Statement of Attainment:

  • RIIRIS301E Apply Risk Management Process
  • RIIWHS301E Conduct Safety and Health Investigations
  • RIICOM301E Communicate Information
  • RIIRIS402E Carry out the Risk Management Process

Prerequisites – There are no prerequisites for this program.

Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of the Mine Supervisor Training Program, Participants will receive the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment Skills Set in RIIRIS301E, RIIWHS301E, RIICOM301E, RIIRIS402E.

**A Wallet Card including the Statement of Attainment and VOC (Verification of Competency) will be also issued to each participant at the completion of this program.

Fees and Charges:

The program fee is $1,350 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.
