This program will provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a boom-type elevated work platform where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Skills and knowledge in working safely at heights is also included. A person performing this work is required to hold a boom-type elevating work platform High Risk Work Licence.

This program will provide the skills and knowledge required to operate a boom-type elevated work platform where the length of the boom is 11 metres or more in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements. Skills and knowledge in working safely at heights is also included.
A person performing this work is required to hold a boom-type elevating work platform High Risk Work Licence.
Prerequisites – There are no prerequisites for this program.
100 points of ID
Participants must provide 100 points of identification to undertake the HRW assessment. A guide for the 100 points can be downloaded from our website.
Learning Outcomes
On successful completion of this program, Participants will have gained the following skills and knowledge:
- Plan operations.
- Conduct routine checks.
- Set up the elevating work platform.
- Work safely and confidently at heights using harnesses
- Operate the elevating work platform.
- Shut down and secure the elevating work platform.
Upon successful completion of the Training Program, Participants will receive 2 nationally recognised Statement of Attainments, TLILIC0005 and RIIWHS204D and if successful in the HRW assessment will be able to apply for a HRW Licence for TLILIC0005 through SafeWork NSW.

HPOTS Training Campus, Cessnock.
Fees and Charges
The program fee is $750 per person. This fee includes Training and Assessment and Program material costs.
Safework NSW HRW Licence Application Fee: $75.00 payable at an approved Post Office

Day 1 – Presentation, discussion and EWP Operational Activities including working safely at heights
Day 2 – Practical Training, theory review, and Unit of Competency Summative Assessment for both TLILIC0005 and RIIWHS204D
Day 3 – HRW Licence Assessment conducted by a Safework NSW Accredited Assessor.
