Verification of Competency

HPOTS have been providing training and assessment services for heavy machinery and industrial equipment since 1982. Our experience and industry knowledge is your guarantee that competency assessments and VOCs meet the strict compliance standards imposed by Work Health & Safety legislation, current industry best practice and specific site requirements.

Our VOC process is not one size fits all. As required under the National Work Health & Safety Act we assist to determine the full range of activities undertaken by workers and incorporate these into the assessment process. You can have confidence that your operators are competent to the highest industry standard in all activities they are required to perform and to the National Training Package and/or High Risk Work Licensing standards as required.

Refresher Training

HPOTS provide refresher training for most programs we deliver. Our refreshers are designed to incorporate multitasking and can be combined with other related units to reduce lost time for participants while still ensuring the full range of activities are covered in the program. You can be sure your operators are trained in the latest techniques while keeping lost time to a minimum.

Get recognition for your skills

If you are an experienced operator who lacks a 'piece of paper' signifying your competency HPOTS Training can help. We can provide assessment services for WorkCover Licenses as well as units of competency from the Civil Construction and the Coal National Training Packages. For National Training Package qualifications depending on your experience and the type of evidence available to support your claim only minimal assessment may be required, if at all.

Your assessment, if required, can often be conducted in the workplace, minimising disruptions to production. Our years of experience successfully developing and providing workplace assessment strategies to our customers is available to you.
