Rehabilitation Coordinator Training

As part of our commitment to assisting our customers to meet their OH&S obligations we have broadened our suite of OH&S training programs to include OH&S Construction Induction, OH&S Consultation and Rehabilitation Coordinator Training.  Companies with a base tariff Workers Compensation premium of $50,000.00 or more or who employ more than 20 people are required to appoint a rehabilitation coordinator.  There can be significant benefits if the person appointed understands:

  • The Legislative requirements surrounding Workers Compensation
  • Methods to keep claims costs to a minimum
  • a step by step process to assist in returning injured workers to work

This program will equip coordinators with the knowledge and skill to work more effectively within the scheme to minimise costs to their business.  It provides:

  • An overview of the WorkCover workers compensation scheme
  • The skills to undertake a thorough review of workplace rehabilitation policies and procedures
  • A detailed understanding of the coordinators role
  • A guide to assist coordinators to work more effectively with Doctors and other medical personnel
  • A guide to working with Accredited Rehabilitation Providers and their role
  • The skills to develop return to work plans
  • Appropriate dispute prevention and resolution strategies

Participants who successfully complete this program will recieve a Certificate issued by WorkCover NSW.
