HPOTS provides training and assessment for Slewing Crane Operators from 20 tonne (C2) through 60 & 100 tonne (C6 & C1) to open (C0) for operators of cranes in excess of 100 tonnes. All of these programs cover the National Certificate of Competency requirements for Australia wide recognition. Our regular C6 programs cover all of the required skill and knowledge to undertake the WorkCover assessment for licensing for mobile slewing cranes up to 60 tonne. The program emphasises the practical application of knowledge and provides opportunities for practice in a safe controlled environment. This program also incoprporates the licensing requirements for classes CN, CV, and C2. Minimum age: 18 years |

Vehicle Loading Cranes capable of lifting more than 10 metre/ tonne must be operated by persons licesnsed by WorkCover NSW. We provide Vehicle Loading Crane programs for groups of up to 6 people which satisfy the National Certificate of Competency requirements for Australia wide recognition. Minimum age: 18 years |

This program provides training in the fundamentals of safety with this equipment and an assessment of participant's competency to operate. This is a shorter version of our National Certificate of Competency (CV) program and is designed to emphasise the practical application of skills and knowledge to improve participant's crane operation and safety. |

This program covers the safety and operation of non slewing cranes. The program can also be modified for Telehandlers where the machine is fitted with a hook. The program includes safe operation of machine controls, start up and shut down procedures, determination of load characteristics and apropriate slinging methods. The program emphasises the practical application of knowledge and provides opportunities for practice in a safe controlled environment. The program also satisfies the National Certificate of Competency requirements for Australia wide recognition. Minimum age: 18 years |

It provides operators with a thorough understanding of pre start inspections, elements of the crane, risk assessment and general lifting safety with overhead cranes. Participants who successsfully complete this one day program recieve a Statement of Training evidencing their competency. |
